Han Zhong Xian Hao (汉中仙毫) is a premium green tea from the southern part of Shaanxi Province, celebrated for its straight, delicate leaves adorned with fine white hairs. Grown in misty mountains, this tea thrives in the cool, humid climate and mineral-rich soils of Hanzhong, which contribute to its refined, floral notes and vibrant green hue. The name "Xian Hao," meaning "Immortal’s Fine Hair," reflects the tea’s exceptional quality and tenderness. For centuries, Hanzhong’s tea traditions have emphasized hand-picking and meticulous craftsmanship.
This batch, harvested on March 19 in Xiakou Town, captures the essence of early spring. The slow-growing tea plants, nurtured by the cooler climate in central China, develop complex flavors. When brewed, the tea produces a bright, clear liquor with floral undertones, fresh sweetness, and a smooth, lingering finish. The leaves gracefully float in the glass, showcasing their delicate form.
