Bawang Shi Piao is a commanding variation of the classic Shi Piao Yixing Teapot. It is characterized by a bold pyramidal body, complemented by a flush lid, arched bridge knob, straight spout, and triangular handle. Each element is rendered with powerful lines that accentuate the teapot's expansive presence.

This teapot is half handmade from Zhu Ni, a red clay challenging to fire due to a shrinkage rate around 20%. This process results in a dense, glass-smooth texture that provides improved heat retention and subtly enhances the tea's flavor profile.

About the Engraving
The teapot’s surface is hand-engraved with bamboo and the inscription "翠竹黃花皆佛性, 清池皓月照禪心" (Through emerald bamboo, gold blossoms, the Absolute is shown. In placid waters, moonbeam-white, the contemplative heart is known).
