Chloranthus Scented Qi Hong is an exquisite fusion of Qi Hong and fragrant chloranthus flowers. Chloranthus spicatus (or Zhu Lan in Chinese) flowers, named for their pearl-like appearance and a fragrance reminiscent of orchids, boast a cultivation history spanning over a century in Shexian County.
With a fragrant history dating back to the Ming Dynasty, chloranthus flowers have been artfully utilized to enhance the aroma of tea, primarily green tea. Today, they serve as a perfect companion for Qi Hong. Complementing their delicate fragrance, we've selected a high-quality, wild-grown Qi Hong Mao Feng from the Qun Ti Zhong cultivar.
During the meticulous processing of Chloranthus Scented Qi Hong, the freshly harvested chloranthus flowers are layered with Qi Hong Mao Feng tea leaves in a carefully orchestrated dance of flavors. This intricate process involves multiple cycles of infusion, allowing the tea to absorb the aromatic essence of chloranthus flowers.
The result is a tea that not only embodies the legacy of Qimen Hongcha but also boasts a unique and enduring chloranthus aroma, creating a sensory experience that is both refreshing and captivating.
