This Sheng Pu’er Dragon Ball is sourced from Naka, a well-regarded village in Mengsong, Menghai County, Xishuangbanna. Naka is known for its high-elevation environment, old-tree resources, and teas that balance clarity, structure, and long aging potential—often showing a composed bitterness, layered sweetness, and a steady, lingering finish.

The material comes from approximately 200-year-old gushu trees, using a blend of small- and large-leaf material, harvested between April 15 and April 20, 2020. The tea was produced in limited quantities and later collected directly from producer Hu Tu in 2022. Only a very small amount of this material remains.

After initial production, the tea was stored in Zhongshan, Guangdong, from 2020 to 2022, then kept in loose-leaf form and aged quietly in our Chengdu warehouse until August 2025. At that point, it was sent to Kunming, Yunnan, and carefully rolled into 7-gram dragonballs, preserving both its structure and its accumulated aging character.

In the cup, this Naka Sheng Pu’er reflects its origin and age: a focused bitterness that quickly turns sweet, a clear mountain energy, and a texture that continues to soften and integrate with each infusion. For those familiar with Naka teas, this dragonball offers a compact expression of a classic Mengsong profile, which is shaped further by time, storage, and gentle compression.
