This tea comes from an EU-certified organic tea plantation in the mountains, dedicated to producing organic teas for export. Its origin, Panxi Town, is regarded as one of the finest micro-regions of Fuding, known for cultivating high-quality white tea. The tea trees, growing in the wilderness for nearly 50 years, reach an average height of over 3 meters. In the winter of 2016, their mature yet tender leaves were hand-picked to craft this tea. Despite the large leaf size, no machines were used in the harvesting process. When steeped, the leaves unfold beautifully, revealing their tenderness.

This tea is exceptionally rare, as it can only be harvested once every two years. Annual harvesting would impact the quality and yield of Silver Needle and White Peony teas in the spring. It remains an innovative and unique offering, with almost no other businesses producing or selling it. The tea is distinguished by its lotus leaf fragrance and rock sugar sweetness.

Due to its thick, full leaves and high crude fiber content, this tea can be boiled after steeping, enhancing its mellow depth and ensuring the best extraction of its flavors. It comes in a loosely pressed 300g cake.
