The tea was stored in loose leaf format since its harvest. In August 2023, it was compressed into a biscuit shape, each weighing 5 grams, allowing for convenient brewing while maintaining the tea's quality.
Shou Mei (寿眉, lit. Longevity Eyebrow) is crafted from naturally withered tips, leaves, and sometimes stems, resulting in a unique white tea that benefits from its coarser leaves and stems.
